Using the vSphere desktop client, select the Inventory view.
Locate the required virtual machine in the inventory navigation tree on the left. If not shown, select View > Show VMs in Inventory.
Click on the virtual machine.
Click the Resources tab.
Select Hard Disk.
In Limit — IOPS set the required IOPS limit for each disk the virtual machine uses. See IP Office Server Profiling. By default, the limits are set to Unlimited.
Click OK.

If doing as part of installing a new virtual machine, continue with any further profiling required. When completed, start the virtual machine (see Powering On a VMware virtual machine).
