Any duplication of IP addresses, even the temporary default IP addresses, causes the IP Office application to not start and any existing IP Office service to stop.

If using local nodal licensing (see Virtual server licensing), the virtual server bases the PLDS Host ID its uses for license validation on several server configuration settings. Hence, before deploying the virtual machine and obtaining any licenses, you must confirm with the customer the final values for the following:

• Host Name

• LAN1 IP Address

• LAN2 IP Address

• Timezone

• DHCP Mode

This does not apply if using WebLM centralized licensing.
