Verifying the company domain

About this task

The key part of Avaya Cloud Services integration is to associate the customer's domain address with their Avaya Cloud Services account. This process requires:

The customer domain. For example: example.com
Access to the DNS server settings for the domain.

Important:

Following the end-of-sale of Avaya Spaces, it is not possible to add a new company. Customers needing to add a new company for other Avaya Cloud Services should raise a support request with Avaya support.

Procedure

Log in to Avaya Cloud Services at https://accounts.avayacloud.com.
If not already done so, click on your name top-right and select Add Company. Otherwise, click on Manage Companies and then either:
- Click on the existing company name.
- Click Add New Company to add another company.
Select the Domains tab.
Select Add Domain.
Enter the domain address and click OK.
Click on the Verify button shown next to the domain name. The menu displays a verification code.
Copy the verification code and add it as a TXT record to the DNS entries on the domain's DNS server. For example:
- If the DNS record requires a Name value, enter @.
After saving the DNS entry, in Avaya Cloud Services, click Verify.
