Installing the Avaya Calling Extension

Avaya Calling prompts the user to select the client they want to use when they first click the icon. Selecting Avaya Calling Extension triggers this process if the user has not already installed the client.

You can also use this process to pre-install the extension.

About this task

The process below installs the Avaya Calling Extension into Google Chrome.

Procedure

  1. Go to https://chromewebstore.google.com/search/avaya%20calling.
  2. Click Avaya Calling.
  3. Click Add to Chrome.
  4. Click Add extension.
  5. When prompted to allow the extension to view your user settings, click Accept.
  6. When prompted to allow Avaya to use your microphone, click Allow.
  7. Click on the and login using your username and password.

    • If single sign-on has been enabled, you can also login using your details for one of the authenticated single sign-on accounts.

    • If the pop-up window that appears is blank or contains an error message, allow the extension to store cookies. See Blank Calling Extension/Enabling Third-Party Cookies.
