Disabling local notifications

By default, both the local and the VDI desktop clients will receive and show the same notifications. To prevent this, notifications should be disabled in the local client.

Procedure

  1. Depending on the operating system, click on the settings Settings icon or click on the Menu Menu icon and then the Settings settings icon.
  2. Select User Preferences.
  3. Depending on the local PC operation system:

    • Windows: Select Display and enable Hidden Mode.

    • Chromebook:

      1. Select Settings > User Preferences > Notifications > Channel Notification Settings > Incoming calls > Behavior.

      2. Select the Make sound option and minimize the client window to turn off the incoming call notifications.

  4. Click Done.
