Adding an Other Phone mode phone number

About this task

Use this procedure to add an Other Phone mode phone numbers. After adding a number, you can use your Avaya Workplace Client in Other phone mode (see Enabling Other Phone mode).

Procedure

  1. In the Avaya Workplace Client settings, select User Preferences > Other Phones.
  2. To add another number, click Add Phone.
  3. Use the V to select the label for the number. The options are Home, Mobile, and Other.
  4. Enter the other phone number. The phone number:

    • Must be external.

    • Cannot contain alphabetic or special characters.

  5. To finish, click Done.
