Obtaining the root certificate from System Manager

About this task

Use the following procedure to download the root certificate.

Note:
  • If you are using System Manager as Certificate Authority (CA) for Avaya Oceana® and Avaya Aura® applications, then the certificate used in the following instructions is the System Manager Root Certificate or CA Certificate.

  • If you are using an enterprise or third-party Certificate Authority (CA) and not System Manager as the CA, then the certificate used in the following instructions is the root certificate of the enterprise or third-party CA.

Procedure

  1. In your web browser, enter the following URL for the System Manager installation of EJBCA:

    https://<SMGR FQDN>/ejbca/

  2. In the Retrieve Certificates section, click Fetch CA Certificates.
  3. Based on your browser, perform one of the following steps:
    • To install the certificate in the certificate manager of Firefox, click the Download to Firefox link.

    • To install the certificate on a Windows machine containing Microsoft Internet Explorer, Edge, and Chrome, click the Download to Internet Explorer link.

    The system prompts you to save the certificate.

  4. Save the certificate.
