Configuring the Workspaces time-out value and reason code

About this task

When the browser disconnects, the configured reason code becomes the agent status after the configured time-out period. By default, the agent status is Not Ready Pending or Not Ready unless configured.

Procedure

  1. Log on to Avaya Control Manager.
  2. Navigate to Configuration > Avaya Oceana > Server Details.
  3. On the Avaya Oceana Server List page, select the server from the list and click Edit.
  4. On the Avaya Oceana Server Edit page, click the System Properties tab.
  5. Expand Workspaces.
  6. In the Workspaces time-out in seconds field, enter the time-out value in seconds.
    Important:
    • The browser disconnect feature is disabled when the Workspaces time-out in seconds value is not configured or blank.

    • Ensure that the Workspaces time-out in seconds field value is always smaller than the RONA Timer(Seconds) field value.

  7. Expand System Default Codes.
  8. In the Default Not Ready Code when browser disconnects field, select Browser Disconnect (996).
  9. Click Save.
