Adding reporting users

About this task

Use this procedure to add a reporting user to Avaya Control Manager, who can log on to Avaya Workspaces and use the supervisor reporting dashboard. This user does not use any other Avaya Workspaces features. For example, this user cannot handle interactions.

Assign administrator or supervisor permissions to this user.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the Avaya Control Manager interface with administrator credentials.
  2. On the Avaya Control Manager webpage, click Users.
  3. On the Users tab, click a team, and click Add.

    Control Manager displays the User Details page.

  4. Under Available Applications, select the Avaya Analytics check box.
  5. In the First Name field, type the first name for the reporting user.
  6. In the Surname field, type the surname for the reporting user.
  7. From the Profile list, select Supervisor.
  8. In the LDAP Username field, type the username used by the Authentication server.

    You must specify the LDAP Username in the email address format.

    For example, type user1@avaya.com.

  9. In the Username field, type a user name.
  10. In the Password field, type a password for a user.
  11. In the Confirm password field, type a password for a user.
  12. From the Team drop-down list, select the team to add this user to.
  13. Click Save.
  14. Select the Permissions tab.
  15. Under Avaya Analytics, from the Role Permissions list, select Administrator or Supervisor.
  16. Click Save.
