Adding multiple agents to layout groups

About this task

You can use Avaya Control Manager to associate a user group to a workspaces layout sub type. You can then add agents to the user group using the Entity Assignment tab.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the Control Manager interface as an administrator.
  2. On the Avaya Control Manager webpage, click Groups.

    The Control Manager interface displays a list of available locations in the navigation pane.

  3. Select a location and click Add ACM Group.
  4. In the Group Details section, do the following:

    • In the Entity Type field, select User.

    • In the Name field, enter a name for the entity type.

    • In the Description field, enter a description of the entity type.

    • Select Workspaces Layout.

      It is mandatory to select any one of the sub types.

  5. Click the Entity Assignment tab.
  6. In the Available section, do one of the following:

    • To move one item: Select the item and click the arrow icon to move the selected item to the Selected section.

    • To move multiple items: Press the Ctrl key to select and click the arrow icon to move the multiple items to the Selected section.

  7. Click Save.
