Configuring the System Manager values in Avaya Control Manager

About this task

As part of the integration between Avaya Control Manager and System Manager, you can assign System Manager field parameters to one or more locations. This allows tenanting of System Manager fields in SIP templates and user SIP properties.

Before you begin

Confirm that the connector for System Manager has been enabled using the procedure found in Enabling connectors. Enable the connector if it is not enabled.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the Avaya Control Manager.
  2. Navigate to Configuration > Team Engagement > System Manager > System Manager Fields.
  3. If the System Manager system has not already been added, perform the following steps:
    1. Click Add.

      The system displays the System Manager Fields Configuration Add screen.

    2. Enter a name for the System Manager system in the Alias field.
    3. Click Save.

      The system displays the System Manager Fields Configuration List screen.

  4. In the list of available systems, double-click the System Manager system that you want to configure.

    The system displays the System Manager Fields Configuration Edit screen.

  5. Select the Location tab.
  6. Move the Communication Manager systems you want to assign from the Available Locations column to the Assigned Locations column.
  7. Click the Fields Configuration tab.
  8. Enter the values in the fields as described in Configuring System Manager values in Control Manager field descriptions.
    Note:

    You can retrieve the configuration values from the System Manager environment where the connector in implemented. You must log in to System Manager and copy the values from System Manager.

  9. Click Add to save the parameters assigned to the System Manager field.
  10. Repeat Steps 7 and 8 to add all required parameters.
  11. Click Save.

    The system displays the System Manager Fields Configuration List screen.
