Creating Avaya Control Manager web service user on Avaya Aura System Manager

Procedure

  1. Log on to Avaya Aura® System Manager Web UI as an administrator user.
  2. Navigate to Avaya Aura System Manager > Users > Administrator > Administrative Users > Roles.
  3. Select System Administrator and click New.

    The application displays Add New Role page.

  4. In the Role Name field, enter a name for the user management web service role.
  5. In the Role Description field, enter the description of the user management web service role.
  6. Click Commit and Continue.
  7. Click Add Mapping.
  8. In the Element or Resource Type field, select users.
  9. In the Element or Resource Instance field, select All.
  10. Click Next.
  11. Click the Select/Unselect All check box.
  12. Click Commit.
  13. Click Add Mapping.
  14. In the Element or Resource Type field, select Communication Manager.
  15. In the Element or Resource Instance field, select All.
  16. Click Next.
  17. Click the Select/Unselect All check box.
  18. Click Commit.
  19. Click Add Mapping.
  20. In the Element or Resource Type field, select Communication Manager Templates.
  21. In the Element or Resource Instance field, select All.
  22. Click Next.
  23. Click the Select/Unselect All check box.
  24. Click Commit.
  25. Click Add Mapping.
  26. In the Element or Resource Type field, select Session Manager and Routing.
  27. In the Element or Resource Instance field, select All.
  28. Click Next.
  29. Click the Select/Unselect All check box.
  30. Click Commit.
  31. Click Add Mapping.
  32. In the Element or Resource Type field, select Avaya Officelinx.
  33. In the Element or Resource Instance field, select All.
  34. Click Next.
  35. Click the Select/Unselect All check box and click Commit.
  36. Click Commit.
