Creating a Transfer Target service for Voice

About this task

Use this procedure to create a Transfer Target service for Voice through Avaya Control Manager. The service is automatically available to consult, and the user can complete consult calls as transfer or conference. After you create a service, the Transfer Target service is also available to consult on, where the user can complete the consult to service call as a transfer or a conference.

Before you begin

Ensure that Avaya Oceana® Cluster 1 is in the running and accepting state.

Procedure

  1. On the Avaya Control Manager webpage, click Avaya Oceana™ > Work Assignment.
  2. Select the Services tab.
  3. On the Services tab, click Add.
  4. To add a Transfer Target service, perform the following steps:
    1. In the Service Name field, enter the name of the service.
    2. Select the Available for Transfer check box.

      The system automatically selects the Agent Display check box.

    3. Move the required attributes from the Available Attributes list to the Included Attributes list.
    4. In the Transfer Routepoints section, in the PSTN Voice field, select the Transfer VDN that you created for Voice.
    5. Click Save.
