Creating a Control Manager role and user to administer Avaya Oceana

Last Updated : Sep 28, 2020 |

About this task

This example procedure describes how to create a Control Manager user with the roles and permissions required for routine administration of Avaya Oceana® agents. You can change these roles and permissions as required for your solution.

After Avaya Oceana® administrators log in to Control Manager using this user account, they have only permissions to perform basic administration tasks for Avaya Oceana® agents.

Note:

When creating a user to administer Avaya Oceana® agents, Avaya recommends that you:

  • Do not give this user permission to make system-wide changes such as changing Avaya Oceana® server details.
