Configuring Avaya Oceana distribution group

About this task

You must create a new mailbox of the type Distribution group, which represents the Microsoft Office365 distribution list. You have to add a group email address and previously created mailbox to this distribution group.

Procedure

  1. Start Omnichannel Administration Utility.
  2. In the navigation pane, click E-mail.
  3. Click Recipient Addresses.
  4. Click New.
  5. In the Mailbox Type field, select Distribution group.

    In the Distribution group section, do the following:

    1. In the Mailbox field, enter the group email address.
    2. To assign members to the distribution group, select from the Available list to the Configured list.
      Note:

      The Distribution group type is to use Send as group feature.

  6. Click Save.
