Configuring Avaya Analytics authentication

Last Updated : Nov 09, 2022 |

About this task

The Omnichannel Database server uses an authentication token to communicate securely to the Avaya Analytics™ servers. You can use the Oceana Data Management utility to generate this authentication token. This prevents users other than administrators from accessing or deleting customer information stored in the Context Store and Avaya Analytics™ databases. The Oceana Data Management utility uses the Avaya Analytics™ token to redact data from the Context Store database.

Important:

If your solution includes a second Avaya Analytics™ database server located at a second data center for geographic redundancy, generate a token for the second Avaya Analytics™ database server.
