Configuring Context Store and Avaya Analytics server details

Last Updated : Nov 11, 2024 |

About this task

The administrator must first configure the server details for both products to retrieve and delete customer information from the Context Store and Avaya Analytics™ databases. The Omnichannel Database server can then establish a connection to both servers.

If the solution includes a second Avaya Analytics™ database server or a second Context Store server located at a second data center for geographic redundancy, the administrator must also add the details of those geographic servers.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the Omnichannel Database server.
  2. Start the Oceana Data Management utility.
  3. In the Oceana Data Management utility, click Privacy.
  4. In the left navigation pane, click Server Configuration.
  5. Click New.
  6. From the drop-down list, select Analytics Server.
  7. In the IP/FQDN field, type the IP address or FQDN of the Avaya Analytics™ database server.
    Note:

If your solution includes Avaya Analytics™ 3.x, use the Streams Server details.

  8. In the Port field, update the port number as 443 for secure communication and 80 for non-secure communication. The default port number is 443.
  9. If you use a secure connection to the Avaya Analytics™ database server, select the Enable secure mode (HTTPS) check box.
  10. Click Save.
  11. On the Edit Current Servers page, click New.
  12. From the drop-down list, select Context Store Server.
  13. In the IP/FQDN field, type the IP address or FQDN of the Context Store cluster.
  14. In the Port field, update the port number to connect to the Context Store cluster if required. The default port number is 443.
