Creating a new scheduled backup task

Last Updated : Nov 18, 2020 |

About this task

In Oceana Data Management utility, you can create a scheduled task to take a backup of the Omnichannel database. You can view each backup status.

You can choose to run a scheduled task daily, weekly, or monthly. You can optionally set a start date for the scheduled task.

Note:

Backup is only available on the primary OCP Database server. However, it is not available on the mirror backup OCP server. Avaya recommends that you schedule a backup in off-peak time when Avaya Oceana® is not handling peak customer traffic. You must also save backup on a different physical server than the OCP database server.
