Avaya provides a sample workflow for the Web Voice channel. With this procedure, you can deploy the sample Web Voice workflow and configure the workflow attributes.
Before you begin
Download the latest version of the sample workflow from PLDS.
In the Windows hosts file, add an entry containing the cluster IP address and FQDN of Avaya Oceana® Cluster 1. The FQDN in the entry must be different from the FQDNs of Avaya Oceana® Cluster 1 nodes.
Procedure
In your web browser, enter the following URL to open the Designer Console of Engagement Designer:
In the Import Workflow dialog box, click Choose File.
Browse to the folder containing the sample workflow, select the workflow, and click Import.
Click Save Workflow.
In the Save Workflow dialog box, do the following:
In the Workflow field, type OceanaWebVoiceAssistedService.
You can provide any name for the workflow.
Select the folder to save the workflow.
Click Save.
Click Deploy Workflow.
In the Deployment Details dialog box, click OK.
Important:
Ensure that you do not add unique information in the first five seconds of the initial announcement.
A setup time associated with the Session Traversal Utilities for NAT (STUN) server specifies that the client cannot hear the first five seconds of the initial announcement. However, in the first five seconds of the initial announcement, you can add ring back or play music.
