Configuring Message Connector parameters in Omnichannel Administration Utility

About this task

For Messaging, configure a new message connector address and secure mode in the Omnichannel Administration Utility.
Note:

To apply the new address, you must restart the OCP cluster.

Procedure

  1. Start the Omnichannel Administration Utility.
  2. In the navigation pane, click General Administration.
  3. Click the Server Settings.
  4. Click New.
  5. From the drop-down list, select Messaging Connector Server.
  6. In the New Messaging Connector Server section, in the IP/FQDN field, enter the IP address or FQDN of the Async server.
  7. In the Port field, enter the port number as 443.
  8. Select the Enable secure mode (HTTPS) check box for a secure communication.
  9. Click Save.
