Configuring and exchanging certificates for Proactive Outreach Manager

About this task

You can use this procedure to configure and exchange certificate for Proactive Outreach Manager.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the Avaya Experience Portal web console with the Administrator user role.
  2. To fetch axis2 certificate at Proactive Outreach Manager, do the following:
    1. In the navigation pane, click POM > POM Home.
    2. Click Configurations  > POM Trusted Certificates.
    3. Click Fetch.
    4. In the Name field, type the name of the certificate. For example, axis2.
    5. In the Location field, type https://IPAddress/axis2.
    6. Click Continue.
    7. Click Save.
  3. To fetch axis2 certificate at AppServer, do the following:
    1. Log on to the AppServer using the https:/IPAddress:PortNumber/runtimeconfig/ link.
    2. In the navigation pane, click Certificate.
    3. Click Change.
    4. In the Keystore path field, type /opt/AppServer/Tomcat/tomcat/conf/myTrustStore.
    5. In the Password field, type the password.
    6. Click Fetch to fetch axis2 certificate.
    7. In the Name field, type the name of the certificate. For example, axis2.
    8. In the Location field, type https://IPAddress/axis2.
  4. To generate Experience Portal certificate, do the following:
    1. On the AppServer Home page, click Certificate.
    2. On the Root Certificates tab, click Generate and generate the certificate.
    3. Click Export and export the Experience Portal certificate.
  5. To generate Proactive Outreach Manager certificate, do the following:
    1. In the navigation pane, click POM > POM Home .
    2. Click Configurations > POM Servers.
    3. To add the POM server, click Add.
    4. Type the POM server name and IP address.
    5. Click Continue.
    6. Select the Trust this certificate check box.
    7. Click Save.
    8. Click Export and export the Proactive Outreach Manager certificate.
  6. To generate AppServer certificate, do the following:
    1. Click Generate.
    2. In the Alias field, type AppServer.
    3. In the Common Name field, type AppServer.
    4. In the Organization Unit field, type OrganizationName.
    5. In the Organization field, type OrganizationName.
    6. In the City field, type the name of the city.
    7. In the State field, type the name of the state.
    8. In the Country field, type the name of the country.
    9. In the SAN field, type IP:IPAddress or DNS:HOSTNAME.
    10. Select SHA256 with RSA, key size 2048 OR SHA1 with RSA, key size 1024.
    11. Click Continue.
    12. Click Export.
    13. Click Save.
  7. To add Proactive Outreach Manager certificate to Experience Portal, do the following:
    1. In the navigation pane, click Certificates.
    2. On the Trusted Certificates tab, click Upload.
    3. In the Name field, type POMName.
    4. In the Type field, select application.
    5. Browse to the location of the POM certificate and select the file.
    6. Click Continue.
    7. Click Save.
  8. To add AppServer certificate to Experience Portal, do the following:
    1. In the navigation pane, click Certificates.
    2. In the Trusted Certificates tab, click Upload.
    3. In the Name field, type AppServer.
    4. In the Type field, select application.
    5. Browse to the location of the AppServer certificate and select the file.
    6. Click Continue.
    7. Click Save.
  9. To add the Experience Portal certificate to Proactive Outreach Manager, do the following:
    1. In the navigation pane, click POM > POM Home .
    2. Click Configurations > POM Trusted Certificates.
    3. To import the certificate, click Import.
    4. In the Name field, type a unique certificate name.
    5. Click Browse and locate the Experience Portal file on the local system.
    6. Click Continue.
  10. To add the AppServer certificate to Proactive Outreach Manager, do the following:
    1. In the navigation pane, click POM > POM Home .
    2. Click Configurations > POM Trusted Certificates.
    3. To import the certificate, click Import.
    4. In the Name field, type a unique certificate name.
    5. Click Browse and locate the AppServer certificate file on the local system.
    6. Click Continue.
  11. Add Experience Portal and Proactive Outreach Manager certificates to AppServer.
  12. Restart Proactive Outreach Manager after exchanging certificates.

    If there is an issue with Appserver certificate, then restart the AppServer.
