Setting the Omnichannel Database Address attribute for HA

About this task

Use this procedure to configure the Omnichannel Database Address attribute with the virtual IP address of Omnichannel Database for the Omnichannel Provider (OCP) services. You can also configure the Omnichannel Database Address attribute for all OCP services by configuring this attribute in the OceanaConfiguration service.

Procedure

  1. On the System Manager web console, click Elements > Avaya Breeze® > Configuration > Attributes.
  2. On the Service Clusters tab, do the following:
    1. In the Cluster field, click Avaya Oceana® Cluster 3.
    2. In the Service field, click AgentControllerService.
  3. For Omnichannel Database Address:
    1. Select the Override Default check box.
    2. In the Effective Value field, enter the FQDN or virtual IP address of the Omnichannel Database.
  4. Click Commit.
  5. Repeat Step 2 to Step 4 for the following services:
    • AutomationController

    • CustomerControllerService

    • EmailService

    • GenericChannelAPI

    • MessagingService

    • ORCRestService

    • OceanaDataViewer

    • CoBrowse

  6. Restart all Avaya Breeze® platform nodes of Avaya Oceana® Cluster 3.
  7. On the Service Clusters tab, do the following:
    1. In the Cluster field, click Avaya Oceana® Cluster 1.
    2. In the Service field, click OCPDataServices.
  8. For Omnichannel Database Address:
    1. Select the Override Default check box.
    2. In the Effective Value field, enter the virtual IP address of Omnichannel Database.
  9. Click Commit.
  10. Restart all Avaya Breeze® platform nodes of Avaya Oceana® Cluster 1.
