Deleting successfully completed instances

Deleting instances in the Admin console of Engagement Designer depends on the values set in the EngagementDesigner attribute.

• If the Completed instance to be deleted property of the EngagementDesigner attribute is set to true, then the completed instances are deleted immediately.

• If the Completed instance to be deleted property is set to false, the completed instances are deleted periodically based on the value set in the Number of days the user want to retain error instances property.

Deleting error handled instances

• If the Treat error handled instances like successfully completed instance property is set to true, then error handled instances are deleted periodically like completed instances based on the value set in the Number of days the user want to retain error instances property.

• If the Treat error handled instances like successfully completed instance is set to false, then error handled instances are deleted periodically like errored instances based on the values set in the following properties:

  • Number of days the user want to retain error instances: The error handled instances are deleted after this period.

  • Maximum limit for the number of error instances to be retained: If the number of error handled instances count instances are larger than this number, then older instances exceeding this number are deleted regardless of the value in the Number of days the user want to retain error instances property. The delete happens during the archival clean up period, set by the Number of days the user want to retain error instances property.

Deleting errored instances

• Number of days the user want to retain error instances: The errored instances are deleted after this period.

• Maximum limit for the number of error instances to be retained: If the number of errored instances count instances are larger than this number, then older instances exceeding this number are deleted regardless of the value in the Number of days the user want to retain error instances property. The delete happens during the archival clean up period, set by the Number of days the user want to retain error instances property.
