Adding a Traffic IP group

About this task

A Traffic IP group is the external client-side IP on the Virtual Traffic Manager. It receives requests from the remote agents and proxies them to the internal Avaya Oceana® servers.

Procedure

  1. On the Virtual Traffic web admin interface, click Services > Traffic IP Groups.

    The interface displays the Create a new Traffic IP Group page.

  2. In the Name field, type a name for the IP group.
  3. In the Traffic Managers field, select your traffic manager.
  4. In the IP Addresses field, enter the IP address that the external firewall translates (NAT) external requests to.
  5. In the IP mode field, select Raise each address on a single machine (Single-Hosted mode).
  6. Click Create Traffic IP Group.
