To secure the connection between the remote agent browser and Pulse Secure Virtual Traffic Manager, you must create an SSL certificate.
Procedure
On the Virtual Traffic web admin interface, click Catalogs > SSL Catalogs > SSL Server Certificates Catalog > Create Self-Signed Certificate / Certificate Signing Request.
The interface displays the Create a new Pool page.
In the Name field, enter a name for the certificate.
In the Subject Alternative Name(s) field, click the plus sign (+), and add the FQDN of Avaya Oceana® Cluster 1.
Repeat Step 3 for all server/cluster FQDNs that the remote agents use.
In the Common Name (CN) field, enter the FQDN of Avaya Oceana® Cluster 1.
In the remaining fields, enter the appropriate values based on your organization.
In the Expires in field, select the required validity length.
In the Key type field, select 2048 bit RSA.
Click Create certificate.
You can now use this self-signed certificate or follow the Pulse Secure documentation to create a CSR for the certificate, and have it signed by a trusted Certificate Authority.
