Use the following procedure to download the self-signed certificate and install it on the Windows desktop machines of agents, so that they do not encounter errors in the browser when accessing Avaya Oceana®.
Use this procedure only if you prefer to use the self-signed certificate on Pulse Secure, instead of a certificate signed by a trusted Certificate Authority.
Procedure
On a Chrome browser on an external Windows client, enter the following URL:
The browser displays an error stating that the connection is not private.
Press F12 to open the Chrome console.
On the Chrome console, on the Security tab, click View Certificate.
In the Certificate dialog box, click the Details tab.
Click Copy to File.
In the Certificate Export Wizard dialog box, click Next.
Select the Base-64 encoded X.509 (.CER) format and click Next.
Enter a name for the certificate and click Next.
Click Finish.
Double-click the downloaded certificate and install it for the local Windows machine.
While installing the certificates on the local Windows machine, ensure that you select Place all certificates in the following store and choose Trusted Root Certification Authorities.
