The external firewall receives the requests from remote agents and allows the requests to go to the reverse proxy. The external firewall receives the requests from all source addresses and ports on the HTTPS port 443.

After the reception, the requests are translated into the reverse proxy IP addresses and ports by using Network Address Translation (NAT).

The same configuration is repeated for the port 9443 to allow authorization requests for Avaya Oceana® agents.
