Verifying the shutdown status of CustomerControllerService in DC2

About this task

The CustomerControllerService snap-in handles chat contacts within the Avaya Oceana® solution.

Before the switchover to the DR site, use this procedure to ensure that the shutdown mode status attribute in the DR site for the CustomerControllerService snap-in is set as true.

If the chat channel is not deployed on Avaya Oceana®, you can skip this procedure.

Procedure

  1. Log on to System Manager.
  2. On the System Manager web console, click Elements > Avaya Breeze® > Configuration > Attributes.
  3. On the Service Clusters tab, do the following:
    1. Cluster: Select DR Avaya Oceana® Cluster 3.
    2. Service: Select CustomerControllerService.
  4. In the Shutdown Mode attribute field, verify if the value is set to true.

    If you change this value to true, there is no need to reboot Avaya Oceana® Cluster 3.
