Omnichannel database mirroring configurations

Avaya Oceana® supports the following two options for Omnichannel Database mirroring configurations:

  • Omnichannel Campus (active only)

  • Omnichannel Campus (active and standby)

Data Center 1 has the Campus installation. Depending on these options, you can choose the appropriate procedures to enable Omnichannel database mirroring.

Note:

  • Ensure full hostname and FQDN resolution on Data Center 1.

  • Cache Mirroring traffic on Data Center 1 is 60 MB per second of journal data at peak.

  • Do not disable Internet Control Message Protocol (ICMP) on any system configured as a mirror member. Cache Mirroring relies on ICMP to detect whether members are reachable.

  • Select Require SSL/TLS only for the configurations using SSL/TLS certificates.
