Description

Rule name

The Radius profile name.

Server Address & Port

The Radius server IP address and port number provided in the format:

IP_address:port

Note:

If you leave the port number blank and:

  • Set the Communication Protocol field to TLS, the default port number 2083 is populated.

  • Set the Communication Protocol field to UDP, the default port number 1813 is populated.

Alternate Server Address & Port

The Radius server IP address and port number to reach when the primary server is down provided in the format:

IP_address:port

Note:

If you leave the port number blank and:

  • Set the Communication Protocol field to TLS, the default port number 2083 is populated.

  • Set the Communication Protocol field to UDP, the default port number 1813 is populated.

Shared Secret

The shared password for Avaya SBC and Radius server.

Confirm Shared Secret

The field to confirm the shared password for Avaya SBC and Radius server.

Number of Retries

The number of attempts that Avaya SBC must try to connect to the Radius server.

Retry Timeout

The time interval for which Avaya SBC must wait for a response from the Radius server.

Connect Port

The Avaya SBC client port number used to send the Radius request messages.

Health Check Interval

The time interval for sending a health check signal to the Radius server when the Radius server is down.

Communication Protocol

The protocol used for communication between Avaya SBC and the Radius server:

  • UDP

  • TLS

The default value is UDP.

TLS Client Profile

The TLS client profile configured for the Radius server.

The default value is None.

This field is available only when you set the Communication Protocol field to TLS.
