Configuring Avaya SBC for single server deployment using CLI

Before you begin

  • Ensure that you install Avaya SBC.

  • Ensure that the EMS server is functional and in the same network as Avaya SBC.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the Avaya SBC device.
  2. Edit the cli_sbce_config.sample file in the following folder: usr/local/ipcs/etc.
  3. Remove # from the cli_sbce_config.sample file and modify the respective parameters.
  4. Rename the cli_sbce_config.sample file to cli_sbce_config.

    Avaya SBC is in a commissioned state.

  5. Check the cli_sbce_config file for successful configuration of Avaya SBC.

    If configuration is successful, the cli_sbce_config file is renamed to cli_sbce_config.commissioned.
