Standard PPM mapping profile field descriptions

Name

Description

Profile Name

The name of the PPM mapping profile.

Server Type

The type of server. The options are:

  • Presence

  • Session Manager

  • Branch Session Manager

SIP Server Profile

For Session Manager or Branch Session Manager, the profile that you want to assign to the Server Type.

SIP Server Profile is not used with Presence.

Server Address
Important:

You must use the FQDN of the server in the Server Address option for Presence, Session Manager, and Branch Session Manager servers.

For Session Manager or Branch Session Manager, the pre-defined IP address and port number of the Session Manager system for which you are creating a profile.

SBC Device

This is a display-only field that shows the SBC server selected when adding a PPM mapping profile.

Signaling Interface

The signaling interface used for the profile.

Mapped Transport

For Session Manager or Branch Session Manager, the transport protocol used for the mapping profile.

Mapped Transport is not used with Presence.
