Configuring application relay for RTCP monitoring in remote Avaya SBC

About this task

The application relay configuration is mandatory to monitor RTCP data from Avaya 96X1 / 96X0 phones.

Before you begin

Navigate to Network & Flows > Advanced Options > RTCP Monitoring to enable RTCP Monitoring Relay. and do the following:

  • In the Node Type field, select Remote

  • In the Relay IP field. field, click the network name and DMZ SBC Relay IP address / DMZ SBC Private IP-A

Procedure

  1. Log in to the EMS web interface with administrator credentials.
  2. From the Device menu, click the SBC name to administer.
  3. In the navigation pane, click DMZ Services > Relay Services.
  4. On the Application Relay page, click Add.
  5. Enter the required information in the appropriate fields and click Finish.
