Application Type

The type of SIP application for which this application rule is being configured. The options are: *Audio * Video .

In

Check box indicating that this application rule applies to the audio and video traffic entering the enterprise network.

Out

Check box indicating that this application rule applies to the audio and video traffic originating from within the enterprise network.

Maximum Concurrent Sessions

The maximum number of concurrent application sessions that can be active for the selected application type. Additional application requests are blocked when this threshold is exceeded.

Maximum Sessions Per Endpoint

The maximum number of application sessions that can be active for an endpoint. Additional application requests are blocked when this threshold is exceeded.

Summarize Calls

Check box to specify whether the Call detail records are summarized.

Avaya SBC uses the summarized CDR data to generate telemetry reports that contain the usage (for example, overall call count) and performance data (for example, percentage of transfer reliability success calls). These reports are generated for a particular tenant configuration in MS Teams deployment. For more information, see Viewing Telemetry reports.

CDR Support

CDR option type applicable for the application rule.

  • Off: Call detail records are not provided.

  • Radius: Call detail records are sent to the Radius server.

  • CDR Adjunct: Call detail records are sent to the CDR Adjunct configured in the Monitoring & Logging > CDR Adjunct section.

To store Call detail records locally, select CDR Adjunct, but do not configure the CDR Adjunct in the Monitoring & Logging > CDR Adjunct section.

Radius Profile

The Radius profile that must be used for this application rule.

Media Statistics Support

Check box to specify whether media statistics are made available in the CDR file. If you select the Media Statistics Support check box, the CDR file contains data about media statistics.

Call Duration

The options for call duration are:

Setup: Stores data in the CDR file from the time Avaya SBC sends an INVITE for connecting the call.

Connect: Stores data in the CDR file from the time Avaya SBC receives a 200 OK message for connecting the call.
