The Application Policy Enforcer applies the application rules. Application rules regulate the number of audio, video, and text sessions that are allowed for each endpoint, remote worker, trunk server, or call server. Each application rule contains the following counters for every media type and the incoming and outgoing direction flags for the media type:
Important:
Application rule enforcement does not apply if the call is detected as an emergency call using the emergency URI configuration. All emergency calls are allowed even if the configured maximum number of concurrent sessions is reached.
