Log in to the EMS web interface with administrator credentials.
From the Device menu, click the SBC name to administer.
Navigate to Network Management > Advanced Options > H248 options.
On the Advanced H248 Options, select the device mode from the options.
The possible values are:
Core
Branch Edge
Note:
If an SBC is set to branch-edge mode, it is not possible to change to core mode. The functionality of related relays in these modes is different and is not interchangeable. To convert an SBC from branch-edge to core mode, you must reconfigure it from scratch.
