About configuring the server and network interfaces

You can use the EMS web interface to perform a number of network-specific configuration and management functions, such as:

  • Managing SIP server configurations.

  • Managing interworking profiles.

  • Managing network configurations and custom routes.

  • Managing Transport Layer Security (TLS) parameters.

Avaya SBC supports connection reuse policy. With this feature, Avaya SBC supports incoming connections from servers that are not able to accept incoming connections due to policies governing the connections to servers or network environment. SIP server initiates a connection towards Avaya SBC with or without alias parameter in via header and Avaya SBC reuses the incoming connection to send any outgoing SIP requests. You can configure this feature using the Inbound Connection Reuse Policy field on the SIP Server Profile page. For more information, see Server configuration profile field descriptions.
