Turning the external screen on or off

About this task

You can enable or disable the display on the external HDMI screen from the quick settings of Avaya Vantage™. When the display to the external screen is enabled, you can view the Avaya Vantage™ screen on the connected HDMI monitor. When disabled, the connected HDMI monitor stops displaying the Avaya Vantage™ screen.

Note:

Contact your administrator if you do not see the external screen on or off option in the quick settings.

Procedure

  1. Swipe down from the top bar to view the quick settings options.
  2. Optional If you do not see the External Screen On (External Screen On) or External Screen Off (External Screen Off) option, do the following to add it to the quick settings options:
    1. Swipe down again from the quick settings bar.
    2. Tap Edit to enter the edit mode.

      The Edit window displays the currently visible quick settings tiles in the upper panel and the hidden quick settings tiles in the lower shaded panel.

    3. To add a tile to the quick settings menu, drag the tile from the lower panel to the upper panel. To hide a tile from the quick settings menu, drag the tile from the upper panel to the lower panel.

      For example, to make the External Screen On or External Screen Off icon available in the quick settings options, drag the External Screen option to the top panel.

  3. To turn on the display on the external screen, tap External Screen Off.
  4. To turn off the display on the external screen, tap External Screen On.
