Filtering data in a dossier

About this task

You can filter the visualizations in a dossier to view only the information that you require. In Analytics for Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud you can view this information for different time durations, such as interval, daily, monthly, or any custom durations.

Note:

You can add filters in editable mode.

Procedure

  1. Log in to Analytics for Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud.
  2. On the Home page, in the navigation pane, click Shared Reports.
  3. In the content pane, click Standard Historical Reports.
  4. Click Dossier.
  5. From the available dossiers, click the dossier you want to run.
  6. On the input prompts, specify the values.
  7. Click Run Dossier.

    Analytics for Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud displays the dossier summary page based on the values specified in the input prompts.

  8. To add filters, on the filter panel, click the three vertical dots next to the Chapter name. For example, if you are adding filter to dossier based on monthly roll-up data, click the three vertical dots next to Monthly and do the following:
    1. To add filters, click Add Filters and select the required attributes and metrics and click OK.
    2. To add visualization filter, click Add Visualization Filter.
  9. From the DATASETS panel, drag the required attributes and metrics to the Editor panel.
  10. To customize the filter format, click FORMAT and make the required changes.
  11. From the GALLERY panel, click the visual filter you want to apply, such as Pie Chart, Box Plot, Histogram and click Done.

    Analytics for Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud displays the selected visual data.

  12. To make changes in the existing attributes and metrics, click Target All Filters Below.
    Tip:

    Use this option to select multiple filters stacked under one filter tree.

  13. To clear filters, click Clear All Targets.
