Deleting a variable in a self-service flow

About this task

Delete a variable in a self-service flow if you do not need it. You cannot delete a variable in use in a self-service flow.

Procedure

  1. In the Self-service Flows view, locate the required self-service flow and click the Edit icon.
  2. Click the Flow creator tab.
  3. At the top of the canvas, click Variables.
  4. Locate the required variable and click the Delete icon.

    If you try to delete a variable in use, Automation shows a message saying: The variable Variable Name cannot be removed because it is being used, please verify. The tasks that use the variable appear in a list after the message.
