Setting a caller ID for a trunk

About this task

You can set a number as a caller ID to display to a customer during an outbound call for a trunk. If you do not select a caller ID, the contact center displays all outbound calls as Anonymous or displays the configured display name. You can use the same caller ID number for more than one trunk. The numbers you can select as the caller ID come from the My Numbers tab.

Before you begin

Ensure you have at least one number in the My Numbers tab.

Procedure

  1. In the navigation tree, click Channels > Voice > Trunks.
  2. In the row of the trunk you want to update, click the More icon and click Set CallerID.
  3. In the CallerID drop down menu, select the number to use for the trunk.
  4. Click Save.
