Deleting a user

About this task

Delete a user when they are no longer part of your organization.

If you delete a logged-out agent, the delete operation completes instantly. Real-time reports display the user status as "Deleted" and historical reports display an icon indicating the agent was deleted.

If you delete a logged-in agent, the agent moves to a delete pending step which allows the agent to continue working. In this case, real-time reports display the user status as 'Delete Pending' and the delete operation does not complete until the agent logs out.

Before you begin

Log in to Application Center Administration as an account administrator.

Procedure

  1. In the navigation tree, click User Management > Users.
  2. On the Users page, in the row of the user to delete, click the Three Dots icon and then click Delete.
  3. In the confirmation dialog box, click Delete.
