Importing the Avaya Experience Platform Public Cloud certificate on the Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway user interface

About this task

The Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud certificate is available in the latest Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway build by default. For any error related to the certificate during synchronization, check the Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud certificate status. If the certificate has expired or has been revoked, contact Avaya or import the Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud root certificate into the Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway user interface.

Use assistance from Avaya Cloud Operations to perform this task.

Before you begin

  • Ensure to download the admin connector logs from the Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway user interface.

  • Ensure that the synchronization is failing due to the Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud certificate issue.

  • Ensure to log in to Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway as an account administrator.

Procedure

  1. To get the Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud certificate from the Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud user interface in the PEM format, do the following:
    1. Open the Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud portal in the Google Chrome browser.
    2. In the address bar, click padlock icon.
    3. Click Connection is secure > Certificate Valid.
    4. Click the Details tab.
    5. Under Certificate Hierarchy, select the topmost element.
    6. Click Export.
    7. Save the certificate in the PEM format.
  2. Log in to the Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway portal.
  3. In the navigation tree, click Security Settings > Certificate Management > Truststore.
  4. Click Import.
  5. Choose the certificate type as PEM.
  6. Choose the downloaded Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud certificate.
  7. Click Apply.

    You can view a prompt to restart the Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway services.

  8. Restart the Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway services.
