Creating a new user

About this task

You can create a test agent and assign queues and attributes to that agent. The agent inherits the attributes of the profile that you assign.

If you use Verint Workforce Engagement, you must ensure you add the corresponding users on the Verint Workforce Engagement administration portal. You must use the same login ID when you add a user on the Verint Workforce Engagement administration portal as you use on Application Center Administration.

Note:

If Avaya has enabled Avaya Voice Recording for your account, then call recording will remain active for the profile or user configuration even if you disable the feature.

Before you begin

  • Log in to Application Center Administration as an account administrator.

  • Create a profile associated with your account.

Procedure

  1. In the navigation tree, click User Management > Users.
  2. On the Users page, click Create User.
  3. On the Users page, fill in the fields.
  4. Expand the Membership section and fill in the fields.
  5. In the User Features section, fill in the fields.
  6. Click Save.

    If the saved user configuration is invalid, you will see the Error icon next to the login ID on the Users page. You can click the Error icon to view more details about the failed validation steps.
