Avaya Workspaces widget framework

최근 업데이트 : Oct 16, 2023 |

Avaya Workspaces widget framework enables you to configure the tabs and pages that users see after logging in to Avaya Workspaces. Widgets are areas in Avaya Workspaces that agents use to perform actions. For example, an agent can use the Customer Journey widget to view customer journey. You can configure the existing widgets or create custom widgets and import them to Application Center Administration.

To manage the components of the User Interface (UI) in Avaya Workspaces, use the following tabs in Application Center Administration:

  • Layout Manager: To configure layouts. Layouts enable you to add widgets to the pages that Avaya Workspaces displays to agents handling a certain type of interactions. For example, you can add a layout and configure it to display the Screenpop widget to agents handling voice interactions. With layouts, you can also change the order in which Avaya Workspaces displays widgets.

  • Screenpops: To configure screenpops. Agents use screenpops to complete their tasks while handling interactions in Avaya Workspaces. For example, a screenpop can display the website with the information about currency exchange rates, and an agent can provide this information to a customer.

  • UX Profiles: To assign layouts to users. You must assign a layout to a UX profile and then assign the UX profile to a user profile. All users with this user profile can see the layout in Avaya Workspaces. With UX profiles, you can also configure the common settings, such as the UI language and the number of the interaction cards that agents can see simultaneously in Avaya Workspaces.

  • Widget Manager: To import custom widgets. You can import a custom widget or an external widget library in the .JSON format to Application Center Administration. This tab also displays the default widgets that Avaya Workspaces supports, for example, the Chat and Interaction Details widgets.

For more information about creating and importing custom widgets, see the Workspaces Widget Framework overview.
