Adding a non-E.164 number to an account

About this task

Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud supports adding non-E.164 phone numbers to an account for routing to agents. Similar to the standard numbers, you can edit, delete, and configure routing settings for a non-E.164 number. Additionally, you can export non-E.164 phone numbers and extensions available in Application Center Administration.

Note:

Agents cannot make calls on non-E.164 numbers.

Before you begin

Log in to Application Center Administration as an account administrator.

Procedure

  1. In the navigation tree, click Channels > Voice.
  2. To add a non-E.164 number, click Route Points > Add Number.
  3. In the Non-E.164 Number field, enter a number.

    You can enter between four and up to 16 numbers as the non-E.164 number. You cannot enter the user's extension number as the non-E.164 number.

  4. In the Display Name field, enter a name for this non-E.164 number.
  5. Click Save.
