Adding keyword groups

About this task

Keyword groups are relevant semantic categories that you use for organizing keywords. Add a keyword group and the related keywords to use for keyword rules. For example, you can add a keyword group "Language" with the keywords "English", "Spanish", and "French".

Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud checks the subject or body of an incoming email for the keywords that you add in the rule condition.

Before you begin

Log in to Application Center Administration as an account administrator.

Procedure

  1. In the navigation tree, click Business Rules > Keyword Group.
  2. On the Keyword Groups page, click New.

    Application Center Administration displays the New Keyword Group pane.

  3. In the Name field, type a name for the new keyword group.
  4. In the Keywords field, type the keywords associated with this keyword group.

    You must separate each keyword with a comma. You cannot type the following keywords: a, the, is, are, were, was, be.

  5. Click Save.
