Creating a profile

上次更新时间 : Oct 29, 2024 |

About this task

Create a user profile for your supported channels. You can use these profiles when you create a user. Account administrators can assign a profile to an account or account hierarchy level. You can assign a maximum of 2,000 users to a single user profile.

Although you can assign several users to a single profile, ensure that you do not exceed 2,000 users. When you exceed this limit, users cannot successfully complete certain tasks in Avaya Workspaces. For example, when users log in to Avaya Workspaces and use the Settings option, they cannot view the UX profile to which they are assigned. Additionally, such users cannot download logs because the option is disabled.

When you create a profile, Application Center Administration automatically assigns this profile to your account. Application Center Administration does not assign this profile to any hierarchy level below the account.

You can enable the required channels when you create a new profile. To use either Avaya Voice Recording or Verint Call Recording, you must enable the feature on the Profiles page.

Note:

If Avaya has enabled Avaya Voice Recording for your account, then call recording will remain active for the profile or user configuration even if you disable the feature.

Before you begin

Log in to Application Center Administration as an account administrator.

Procedure

  1. In the navigation tree, click User Management > Profiles.
