Adding Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway hostname in Avaya Aura System Manager

About this task

You can add an Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway hostname in Avaya Aura® System Manager so that System Manager can receive Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway alarms.

Before you begin

  • Ensure to log in to Avaya Aura® System Manager.

  • Ensure to create an SNMPv3 user profile.

  • Ensure to create an SNMP target profile.

  • Ensure to set up a serviceability agent.

Procedure

  1. To add the Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway hostname in Avaya Aura® System Manager, click Services > Inventory > Manage Elements.
  2. Click New.
  3. On the New Elements page, in the General section, from the Type list, click Hybrid Cloud Gateway and do the following:
    1. In the Name field, type the hostname.
    2. In the Description field, type the description.
    3. In the Node field, type the node address.
  4. To create an Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway access profile, in the Access Profile section, click New and do the following:
    1. In the Application System Supported Protocol section, select the protocol from the Protocol list.
    2. In the Access Profile Details section, type the profile name in the Name field.
    3. From the Access Profile Type list, select the profile type.

      The default profile type is EMRUL.

    4. From the Protocol list, select the protocol type.

      The default protocol is https.

    5. In the Host field, type the host address.
    6. In the Port field, type 8445 as the port number.

      The default number is 0.

    7. In the Path field, type the access profile path.
    8. In the Order field, type the order number.

      The default number is 0.

    9. In the Description field, type the description of the access profile.
    10. Click Save.
    11. Click Commit.
