Setting up a serviceability agent

About this task

You must set up a serviceability agent so that Avaya Aura® System Manager can receive Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway alarms.

Before you begin

  • Ensure to log in to Avaya Aura® System Manager.

  • Ensure to create an SNMPv3 user profile.

  • Ensure to create an SNMP target profile.

Procedure

  1. In Avaya Aura® System Manager, click Services > Inventory > Manage Serviceability Agents > Serviceability Agents.
  2. Select the Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway hostname, and click Manage Profile.
  3. On the Manage Profile page, click the SNMP Target Profiles tab.
  4. To move an SNMP profile from the Assignable Profiles section to the Removable Profiles section, select the SNMP profile you want to move and click Assign.
  5. On the Manage Profile page, click the SNMPv3 User Profiles tab.
  6. To move the SNMPv3 profile from the Assignable Profiles section to the Removable Profiles section, click on the SNMPv3 Target Profiles tab.
  7. In the Assignable Profiles section, select the SNMPv3 profile you want to move and click Assign.
  8. Click Commit.
